Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Roavia uses cookies and similar storage (such as local storage) on the website (roavia.co) and in the app.
This page is provided in English; the English text is the operative version.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. “Similar storage” (like local storage) works the same way. They can be strictly necessary to run a service, or optional (for analytics or advertising).
2. Cookies on this website
The Roavia marketing website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics on it. Subscribing to updates does not require a cookie. The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google but does not set cookies on this site.
3. Cookies in the app
The Roavia app uses only what's needed to work:
- Strictly necessary — to keep you signed in and secure your session.
- Preferences — to remember settings such as your language, units (miles/km) and home currency.
These are essential to provide the service you asked for and are not used to track you across other sites.
4. Third parties
Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies when used — for example Stripe during Roavia Plus checkout, and Google Maps / HERE for maps and routing in the app. Their cookies are governed by their own policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop you from signing in or using parts of the app.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date shows when. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we'll ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
