Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Roavia website (roavia.co) and the Roavia app. By creating an account or using Roavia, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
This page is provided in English; the English text is the operative version.
1. The service
Roavia helps you plan and navigate road trips — building itineraries, routing for your vehicle, comparing crossings, finding aires and campsites, and tracking a budget. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and is a planning and guidance aid, not a substitute for your own attention, road signs, local rules, or good judgement while driving.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Roavia.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use Roavia for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is unlawful or harmful.
4. Roavia Plus & billing
Roavia is free to start. Roavia Plus is an optional annual subscription (£49.99 / €54.99 per year), purchased on the web and processed by Stripe. It renews automatically each year unless cancelled, and you can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change on renewal, with notice.
5. Navigation & routing
Routes, drive times, toll costs, crossing options, vignette flags and navigation are provided for guidance and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for driving safely and lawfully — always follow road signs, local restrictions and your own assessment of whether a road suits your vehicle. We are not liable for routing errors, fines, missed crossings, or any incident arising from your use of the guidance.
6. Third-party content
Maps, routing, tolls, place data and AI suggestions come in part from third parties and open data sources. We don't guarantee their accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Your content and our rights
You keep ownership of the trips, notes and other content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it to provide the service. Roavia, its software, branding and design remain our property; these terms don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
8. Disclaimers & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roavia is provided without warranties of any kind, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, and for loss arising from your reliance on routing or planning data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Suspension & termination
You can stop using Roavia and delete your account at any time (in the app: Settings → Delete Account). We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or to protect the service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
